Rev Ronald L. Gadson
Ronald L. Gadson, Sr. a native of Louisville, Kentucky, came to Christ at the age of ten at the Portland Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. A. D. Hansbough. After serving in the United States Army and returning to Louisville, Ron served as a faithful and dedicated member in various capacities at the Portland Memorial Baptist Church and became an ordained deacon in 1977.
In 1983, Rev. Gadson moved his membership to the Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee and Sunday School Teacher. In 1987 he was licensed and ordained under the pastorate of Rev. Harmon E. Stockdale, and served as Associate Minister of Mt. Lebanon.
In March of 1997, Rev. Gadson received a call from Mt. Lebanon to assume the duties of interim pastor. In June, 1998, the Church Family, by an overwhelming majority, called Reverend Gadson as the tenth Pastor of Mt. Lebanon. Over the last fifteen years, under Pastor Gadsons leadership Mt. Lebanon has seen many improvements to the building, and the initiation of new projects and ministries to address the needs of our Church Family and community.
Pastor Gadson is a man of integrity, sincerity, great spirituality, faith and vision, he preaches Salvation and teaches the Gospel -- in season and out of season. He continuously strives to reach the mark of a higher calling and to be a servant who is committed to obeying God.
